Simply Delicious Hummous

INGREDIENTS

1 x can chickpeas – drained

juice of half a lemon

1 x teaspoon tahini

1 x pinch salt

1 x tblsp olive oil (optional)

1 x clove garlic, minced (optional)

1 x dash water to desired consistency

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy, adding water if necessary.

Simple variations include adding a handful of kale and coriander, or basil for a fragrant green dip.

Serve with raw veggies, pita bread, or corn chips for a simple and nutritious snack.
